The Cowboys are laying a touchdown at home to the Lions on Sunday. The Cowboys did look good last week against the Giants but the Lions are not a team to take lightly. They have been competitive in nearly every game this season and they can score. They have also split the last ten meetings in the series against the Cowboys both straight up and against the NFL betting lines. The teams have not played in three years when the Cowboys won 28-27 at Detroit. The last time they met in Dallas was in 2006 when the Lions won 39-31.

This game will be a homecoming for Dallas quarterback Jon Kitna who played for the Lions for three seasons. He sure did play well last week as he was 13 of 22 passes for 327 yards and 3 touchdowns against the Giants. It was Kitna’s first win as a starting quarterback since Game 15 of 2007, when the Lions beat Kansas City. Kitna was traded to the Cowboys after the 2008 season but he didn’t play at all last season as Tony Romo’s backup. He has seen a lot of action this year though since Romo is out with an injury.
Lions Covering the Number
Detroit has been excellent this season against the spread. They are 7-2 officially although if you bet them early last week against Buffalo and got 2.5 or three points then you got a win instead of a loss in NFL betting online which would make them 8-1 ATS.
