NFL Betting – Eagles at Redskins on Monday Night Football

The Philadelphia Eagles are favored in NFL betting on Monday night as they visit the Washington Redskins. It will be the second time that Donovan McNabb has faced his old team.  Things went well the first time for McNabb as the Redskins beat the Eagles but since that time the Redskins have not done much while the Eagles have been a very popular team to take with an NFL bet at Sbg global.com.

Eagles -3, total 42
The Eagles are favored on the road on Monday night which should tell you just how much respect they are getting from the odds makers and gamblers making an NFL bet.  The Eagles look like a very good team with Michael Vick at quarterback.  The Redskins are a .500 team and there are major questions surrounding the situation with McNabb and head coach Mike Shanahan. The Redskins had a bye last week but the controversy surrounding Shanahan taking McNabb out against the Lions in favor of Rex Grossman has not died down.

Eagles Soaring
The Eagles have been very good with Vick at quarterback.  They won 26-24 last week over Indianapolis as Vick completed 17 of 29 passes for 218 yards and a touchdown. He also rushed for 74 yards and another TD. He leads the NFL with a 105.3 passer rating. The Eagles come into this game with a lot of confidence on both sides of the ball. The offense with Vick, DeSean Jackson and LeSean McCoy is potent and the defense is getting better.  They sacked Peyton Manning three times last week and Asante Samuel picked him off twice.

Redskins Need to Run
The Redskins beat the Eagles last month and they did so by running the ball.  Ryan Torain had 70 yards in that win as the Redskins rushed for 169 yards.  Torain is returning from a hamstring injury and should play on Monday.
