Kansas City was stuffed last week on the ground by San Diego but they should be able to run it better this week against St. Louis. The Chiefs have to be able to run, especially with Cassel not a full strength. The Rams also want to run the ball as they have Steven Jackson. The Chiefs have not stopped the run the past two weeks as Denver had 161 against them two weeks ago while San Diego gashed them for 207 yards last week.
Kansas City has not been a good road team while St. Louis is a good home team. The Rams are 4-2 at home this season. Kansas City has won all four meetings against the Rams since the team moved to St. Louis. The teams have not played since 2006 when the Chiefs won 31-17. This is the first time ever in the history of this series that the teams will be meeting with both teams in first place.
