On the whole more than a few people believe that Philadelphia was a fluke Super Bowl champion. Certainly, their win over New England on Super Sunday with a backup quarterback was unusual. New Orleans soars into this week with a record of 8-1 straight up and 7-2 against the spread. Five of their games have gone over the total. Last week the Saints scored a 51-14 win at Cincinnati. Overall the Eagles rank 21st for scoring offense but six for points allowed. Quarterback Carson Wentz has a 108.5 rating with 15 touchdowns and three interceptions. More emphatically he was not the QB for the Super Bowl title. So, while the offense is better the Eagles are worse.

Their last five in that role have gone over the total. Balanced against that is the Saints struggles as a home favorite on the board.
