New Orleans Saints at St. Louis NFL Betting

NFL betting on Sunday heavily favors the New Orleans Saints on the road against the St. Louis Rams. The Saints are one of two unbeaten teams remaining while the Rams have just one win this football betting season.  Here is a look at this matchup on Sunday that has New Orleans as a two touchdown favorite against St. Louis. NFL betting has seen the Saints win three of the last five games at St. Louis. The Saints are also 3-2 against the football betting number in those games. The last time the teams met in St. Louis was four years ago and the Rams won 28-17.  Four of the last five games between the two teams in St. Louis have gone over in NFL betting.

The Saints are off to their best start in team history at 8-0.  The last three weeks have not been easy though. The Saints had to rally against Miami, had a tough game against Atlanta and trailed early this past week against Carolina.  Quarterback Drew Brees threw for 330 yards and a touchdown in the 30-20 win over Carolina. It was the first time this season the Saints did not score a TD in the first half. Brees had his 28th 300-yard game since 2006, which is the most in the NFL. High scoring games have been the norm for the Saints of late in NFL betting.  The NFL betting game against Carolina was the fourth straight game where the Saints scored more than 30 points and gave up more than 20 points.

The Saints have actually been better on the road this season in NFL betting than at home.  On the road the Saints are a perfect 3-0 against the football betting pointspread.

The Rams are 1-7 straight up and 3-5 against the NFL betting odds. They are coming off a bye last week in NFL betting.  It was a nice off week for the Rams since the previous week they got their first win of the season against Detroit.  Steven Jackson is having a very good year running the ball for the Rams but he has been one of the few positives in NFL betting.  The Rams rank near the bottom of the league on offense and defense as NFL betting statistics indicate. The Rams have been poor this season at home versus the NFL betting odds. They are 0-3 at home this season in football betting.
