New Orleans Saints at Washington Bet on Football

December 1, 2010 NFL Football

Bet on football favors the unbeaten New Orleans Saints at Washington on Sunday.

The Saints are coming off their most impressive NFL betting win of the season as they routed New England on Monday by a score of 38-17.  The Saints will look to go to 12-0 at Washington on Sunday.

Bet on football saw the Saints do virtually everything right against the Patriots.  Drew Brees threw for a season-high 371 yards and five touchdowns.  The only danger for the Saints heading into this NFL betting matchup against Washington is a letdown.  The Saints were so good against New England that they averaged 9.6 yards per play. "We were able to accomplish something offensively tonight that was pretty special," Brees said.  The defense for the Saints was also good in the bet on football victory. They now have 22 interceptions on the season which leads the league.

The Washington Redskins have been competitive in recent bet on football games but they are still finding ways to lose. They did everything against Philadelphia last week except win the game.  They led for most of the game but lost 27-24.  The Redskins lost 7-6 against Dallas the previous week. "It’s hard to come back after a loss like we had last week and this week," Washington coach Jim Zorn said. "I hope that we talk sense and sanity into what we find ourselves in. And that’s difficult."

The Saints have a lot of great bet on football trends. They are 7-1-1 ATS in their last 9 road games and 13-4-1 ATS in their last 18 games overall. The Saints are 6-2 in NFL betting vs. a team with a losing record. They are also 4-1 ATS in the last 5 bet on football meetings.

The Redskins are 5-11-3 ATS in their last 19 games overall. Washington has not done well versus the bet on football odds at home. They are 2-9 ATS in their last 11 home games.

Nine of the last ten New Orleans games in December have gone over the NFL betting total.  Four of the last five Washington games overall have gone over but at home the Redskins have seen 10 of their last 12 go under.  In this bet on football series between the two teams, four of the last five games have gone over the total.
