Last week the Saints were superb as they had 493 yards against the Giants while the defense forced two turnovers. Quarterback Drew Brees was 23-of-30 for 369 yards with four touchdowns.

New Orleans has not trailed in a game this season. They could be tested in NFL betting by a Miami team that has won two in a row. The Dolphins will try and run the ball and keep the powerful New Orleans offense off the field.

The last time the Saints and Dolphins met in NFL betting was in 2005 as the Dolphins won 21-6. Three games in the football betting series have been decided by a touchdown or less, one by a field goal. The Saints have never won against the Dolphins in Miami.

Miami has some decent NFL betting trends as well. The Dolphins are 6-1 vs. the football betting odds in their last 7 games in October, and 4-1-1 ATS in their last 6 games following a bye week. The one concern would be that the Dolphins are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games as a home football betting underdog

In regards to the football betting total, 13 of the last 18 games on the road when the Saints are favored have gone over. 11 of the last 16 Miami games have gone under the football betting total.
