McNabb Injured NFL betting lines

November 14th, 2022 NFL Football Betting Online Odds

NFL betting lines will be impacted by Philadelphia Eagle quarterback Donovan McNabb’s injury. He has a cracked rib and his status for Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints is uncertain and NFL lines are in a wait and see mode.NFL betting lines could move as much as field goal if McNabb does not play. “He’s pretty sore,” Coach Andy Reid said Monday. “He’s going to try and battle through it. He’ll struggle to practice.”  If McNabb is unable to go then it will be backup Kevin Kolb in this online sports betting matchup.  NFL betting lines indicate that Michael Vick is not eligible to play until the following week against Kansas City. NFL betting lines had McNabb getting injured in the end zone as he scored on a 3-yard run in the third quarter against the Panthers in a game that the Eagles won handily.

The Eagles probably would have been about a 3.5 to 4-point NFL betting lines favorite at home against the Saints with McNabb in the lineup.  That NFL betting lines number could drop to a pick if McNabb does not play.  Starting quarterbacks influence the betting line more than any other player. The Eagles will still get some attention in NFL betting lines at the online sportsbook because they are at home and they have a good team.  But going against Drew Brees and the high powered Saints without McNabb would probably make New Orleans a choice for many that bet NFL lines.

How have the Eagles done with McNabb out of the lineup versus the NFL betting lines?  It is an interesting question to consider in NFL lines. McNabb has missed 15 games the past three NFL betting lines seasons.  In those games the Eagles went 7-8 straight up and 7-7-1 against the NFL lines.  There is not a lot to go on there but what is interesting is that the team went over the NFL betting lines in terms of points scored without McNabb.  10 of the 15 games went over the online sports betting total with one tie.

Kolb has not played much in the regular season for the Eagles.  He completed 17-of-34 passes for 144 yards last year but that was in a game that was pretty much decided.

NFL betting lines will be interesting to follow this week as the status of McNabb becomes clearer.
