Making 2009 NFL Mock Draft Picks

November 15th, 2022 NFL Football Betting Online Odds

2009 NFL Mock Draft picks begin with Detroit taking Georgia quarterback Matthew Stafford with the first overall pick.If they somehow shock the world and don’t take Stafford then Baylor’s Jason Smith or Wake Forest’s Aaron Curry would be the pick.  Let’s look at the most likely NFL Draft betting outcome though with Stafford going first.

2009 NFL Draft experts have Stafford going first followed by Smith to St. Louis and Curry to Kansas City. Seattle could go any number of ways in a 2009 NFL Draft but we’ll predict they take Texas DE Brian Orakpo with the fourth NFL Draft betting pick.  Most of the 2009 NFL Mock Draft picks have Cleveland taking Michael Crabtree at #5.  The Bengals should take Eugene Monroe at #6 and the Raiders will probably take Jeremy Maclin at #7.  If the Jaguars don’t trade their #8 pick to the Jets they could take Boston College DT B.J. Raji in NFL Draft betting.  Green Bay could go with Penn State’s Aaron Maybin while San Francisco rounds out the Top 10 in our 2009 NFL Draft with Florida State’s Everette Brown.

Our 2009 NFL Mock Draft begins the second 10 with Buffalo taking Alabama’s Andre Smith at #11.  Denver goes with Robert Ayers at #12 in our 2009 NFL Draft.  Washington takes Brian Cushing at #13 followed by New Orleans taking Knowshon Moreno at #14.  Houston goes with Malcom Jenkins at #15 while San Diego gets Tyson Jackson at #16 in our 2009 NFL Draft.  The Jets probably will end up with Sanchez somehow but we’ll put him here at #17 anyway to New York. Denver takes Jerry Peria at #18; Tampa Bay goes with Vontae Davis at #19 while Detroit rounds out the Top 20 of our 2009 NFL Mock Draft with Rey Maulauga.

Philadelphia begins the third 10 of the 2009 NFL Mock Draft with Brandon Pettigrew at #21 while Minnesota takes Michael Oher at #22.  The Patriots select Clay Matthews Jr. at #23 while Atlanta takes Darius Butler at #24 in NFL Draft betting. The Dolphins take Larry English at #25 while Baltimore selects Percy Harvin at #26. The Colts go with Chris Wells at #27, Buffalo selects Alex Mack at #28, the Giants get Darrius Heyward-Bey at #29, Tennessee picks Hakeem Nicks at #30, Arizona takes Donald Brown at #31 and Pittsburgh completes the first round of our 2009 NFL Mock Draft by taking Brian Robiskie.
