Lions Quarterbacks Injured NFL Betting Odds

December 1, 2010 NFL Football

NFL betting odds on Thursday have the Buffalo Bills favored at home against the Detroit Lions who may only have one healthy quarterback for the game.

NFL odds info tells us that Matthew Stafford will get the start and there may be no other quarterback to follow him.

NFL betting odds have the Lions dealing with injuries to Daunte Culpepper and Drew Stanton.  NFL betting odds tell us that Culpepper has a foot injury while Stanton has a knee injury.  The Lions could be without both of them in Thursday’s NFL betting odds matchup.  NFL odds show that Stafford took all of the snaps in Monday’s practice. "It was fun — it was like being back in college," said Stafford.

The Lions have yet to name their starting quarterback for the NFL betting odds regular season.  Stanton has been battling Culpepper for the job with Stanton the #3 quarterback as NFL betting odds indicate.  How these injuries affect the ultimate decision remains to be seen but Culpepper’s status for Thursday in NFL betting odds is definitely in question. "He sort of stubbed his toe, and when the skin stretched, it tore behind his middle toes," head coach Jim Schwartz said. "If you or I had done it and gone to the hospital, they probably would have put in two or three stitches, but they wanted to secure it tightly, so they put in eight. We’ll have to wait and see about his status for Thursday."

Stanton had a badly swollen left knee on Monday and his status looks very doubtful for Thursday NFL betting odds. "We advertised for a quarterback on Craigslist, but no one answered, so we just had Matt," Schwartz said. "We cut some things, because we didn’t want to work him too hard. It isn’t just the passing, but all the dropbacks and everything else. He had worked up a pretty good sweat by the time we finished."

The Lions could use someone as an emergency quarterback just to get through Thursday’s NFL betting odds game or they could pick up someone.  The Lions got a win in NFL betting odds last week against the Colts so they are not putting a lot of focus on Thursday’s NFL betting odds game anyway.  The Bills would like to get a win though as they have been awful in NFL odds this preseason.  NFL odds have the Bills favored by a field goal on Thursday.
