Chiefs at Chargers SBG Odds Overview

Los Angeles will draw plenty of online betting support as the home team on Sunday night. Counter to that is the mass appeal of the Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes. Additionally, there will be plenty of red in the stands for this game. The Chargers are not a hit in Los Angeles. And visiting teams bring thousands of fans that want a California vacation.

Kansas City Chiefs Team Overview

Last game, the Kansas City Chiefs won 27-17 against the Jacksonville Jaguars as 10-point home favorites. The game went under the total of 51.5. Kansas City has a record of 7-2 straight up, 3-5-1 against the spread, and 4-5 over/under the total.

The master gave a lesson to the young apprentice at Arrowhead. To illuminate, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes put on a clinic. Mahomes finished 26-of-35 for 331 yards with four scores and one interception against Jacksonville and Trevor Lawrence.

Concurrently, Kadarious Toney just struck fear into the hearts of defensive coordinators throughout the AFC. He got the most run he’s seen in a Chiefs jersey yet, and he delivered. Toney hauled in four catches on five targets for 57 yards and a score. Also, he added three broken tackles after the catch and is already easily Kansas City’s most dynamic weapon on offense. And then, if JuJu Smith-Schuster is sidelined for a while, Toney will get featured even more.

Meanwhile, Joshua Williams and Trent McDuffie limited the Jaguars’ offense to a bunch of dink-and-dunk passes on the day. Williams was targeted four times and allowed only three catches for 23 yards. While McDuffie was targeted eight times and let up only six catches for 59 yards (only three first downs).

Following a Week 9 against Tennessee, Trey Smith had one of his best days in pass protection against the Jaguars. He allowed six pressures last week but not a single one this time out. Hence, it was only his third career start in which he didn’t allow a pressure.

Los Angeles Chargers Team Overview

Last game, the Los Angeles Chargers lost 22-16 against the San Francisco 49ers as 8.5-point road dogs. The game went under the total of 45.5. Los Angeles has a record of 5-4 straight up, 6-3 against the spread, and 4-5 over/under the total. Justin Herbert racked up four big-time throws in the first half. However, the lackluster pass protection and thin receiving unit were too much to overcome. The Chargers were shut out in the second half. In turn, Herbert spent over a third of his dropbacks under pressure.
