November 26th, 2019 NFL Football Betting Online Odds

As the 2015-16 NFL Regular season move on, this Sunday the 6th of December 2015 we have a match-up between 2 NFL teams with the 6-5 Jets of NEW York (AFC East) playing at the 5-6 Giants of New York (NFC-East) with the game being played at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey with the kick-off scheduled for 1:05 PM ET and seen on CBS TV.

The fans that Bet on NFL Football need to know that the opening odds on this game have the Jets of New York are the game favorites at -2 ½ with the Over/under at 45 and -130 on the Mooney Line, while the Giants of New York are at +2 ½ and +110 on the NL.

The Jets this past weekend routed the Dolphins of Miami 38-20 and now are faced with the big game with New York rivals the Giants. The only way this game could be bigger was if it was the Super Bowl. Both teams need a victory to move up in their divisions, and the Jets are also seeking a spot in the Wild Card Playoffs for the AFC.

The Jets QB R. Fitzpatrick have a good shot at beating the secondary of the Giants, as they have allowed opponents some 300 plus yard in their last game with the Redskins on Sunday past. Their game against the Dolphins happened to be the QB best performance since he started with the Jets as he passed for 4 TD’s as he completed 22 of his 37 pass attempts for 226 yards and ended with a QB rating of 119. The Jets WR B. Marshall has one of his more productive games with 9 receptions for 132 yards and 2 TD’s, and went he could not get in the open QB Fitzpatrick turned to WR Decker who had 1 TD on 5 receptions and 64 yards. Thus, with 2 strong receivers their QB may be able to open up the Giants defense that is ranked last in the league as they are allowing opponents some 310 yards each game.

The Jets RB C. Ivory may also be a good weapon who has had some good performances as of late, like his 21 carries for 85 yards in their last game that included a 30 yard TD run.

On defense the Jets are very strong an active with their defense against the pass, and that could restrict the one-sided offense of the Giants. To date the Jets have allowed opposing QB’s to complete only 55.4 % of their passes and that’s the least in the league in 2015. They call their secondary the shutout unit as SS M. Williams has 5 intercepts to date and CR D. Revis has 3 interceptions this season.

If you’re a fan of the Giants of New York, you know your team had a terrible game with the Redskins as your QB E. Manning threw some 3 interceptions in the game that the Giants lost 20-14 to Washington. However, he still moved the ball fairly well as the completed 26 of his 51 passing attempts for 322 yards and 2 TD’s, with his main target being O. Beckham Jr. who had 144 yards on 9 receptions against Washington. However, in this game with the Jets his success could suffer, since the Giants have not allowed an opposing receiver to gain 100 yard in their last 2 games, and with a solid CB in D. Revis.

But overcoming the Jets defense against the pass may not be as difficult for QB Manning since as in the last 2 game he started against the Jets he has won both games, but did struggle some, as he only managed completing 42 percent of his passes in the 2 games, and compiled 410 yards, with 3 TD’s and 2 intercepts in those same 2 games.

If the Jets secondary is to be overcome then QB Manning will need improved playing from his receiving corps, but the advantage is that the Giants have a few of capable wide receivers to choose from.

Defensively the Giants of New York are in a tie with the Falcons of Atlanta as the team with the least pass rush in the NFL having only 12 sacks this season. However, they have done a good job of intercepting opposing QB’s as they have 14 intercepts this season and that ranks 3rd in the NFC. The Giants in their ultimate 5 games with the Jets have 5 wins and 0 losses to date.

The sportsbook prediction for this game is that the Jets led by QB Fitzpatrick and RB Ivory have a big win over the struggling Giants and QB E. Manning!
