Superbowl betting each February takes the NFL to the highest level..

The Super Bowl odds on the side is just part of the story as there are the over/under total, the money line and lot of propositions to wager on. There are a lot of ways to get involved when you are betting the Super Bowl.

Superbowl betting is filled with a lot of hype, but not a lot of unique takes. In fact, for the amount of media coverage that it gets, and attention from the public, there is an incredible amount of group think associated with the Super Bowl. Rarely does the underdog get a lot of credit on the Superbowl betting line. Usually the public will take the favorite in Super Bowl odds and the underdog only on the money line.

They figure if they are betting on the last game of the year that they may as well get a good price if they are taking the dog.  Laying the points but taking the underdog money line is what most people do in Superbowl betting.  Those people all lost last year doing that when Pittsburgh won the Super Bowl but didn’t cover the Super Bowl odds.

There is not question that the Super Bowl is the one game that everyone wants to bet whether it is side, total, money line or proposition. Usually gamblers will find some way to get involved in Superbowl betting.  One choice that has gained popularity in recent years is the proposition bet. This is where you can wager on a variety of different things. For example, as you are betting on the game you will have the number of completions by the quarterback.  You could go over or under that posted number in Super Bowl odds when betting the game.  It might be touchdowns by a player, yardage, sacks, interceptions, etc.  These props can also be team related and they can also cover more than just the Super Bowl. You might have props that cross over to basketball, hockey or even soccer since those games are played on Super Bowl Sunday as well.

You can get involved in Superbowl betting in a wide variety of ways. There are so many different options.  You can bet before the game and you can even bet during the game if you want to bet the halftime line.  There is something for everyone in Superbowl betting.
