Last week Whitehurst came back down to earth after playing well in the first game. He could find the going tough in the second half against a Minnesota defense on the road.
Vikings: Nothing is for certain in the preseason as last week proved when the Vikings lost a cover on a safety at the end of the game, but all the signs point to a big Minnesota effort on Saturday. They have been hearing all week about how bad the offense will be without Rice.
Look for Favre, Peterson and the others on the Minnesota offense to make a big statement against a Seattle team that is not very good. Laying the points with Minnesota seems to be a solid play in NFL football betting.
