Football wagering money management is critical if you want to win money.

You will hear people talk about money management over and over again and it is very important when making football wagers. You must be able to handle your money in football wagering.

Football wagering money management begins with the betting amounts. To decide how much to bet on a game you first must determine what your official bankroll for football wagering is. This bankroll should be separate from all other aspects of your life. It shouldn’t be touched for bills, it shouldn’t be added to; it should just be for football wagering for the season. Once this bankroll has been set then you can decide your football wagers.

How much do you want to bet on your football wagers? Your best option is to bet every game for the same amount in football wagering and for a set percentage of your bankroll. For example, let’s say you have a $2,000 bankroll. You could play each game for 5% at $100 or game or play it even safer and play for 2% or $40 per game. That is a safe way to handle your money in football wagering.

Another strategy for money management in football wagering is to always stay on the plus side on big football days. How is that accomplished you ask? This strategy is not set for a specific amount each day but simply to finish each day in the black. Once a bettor is ahead for the day they put some of the profits away and guarantee a winning day in football wagering. If they happen to be on the wrong side of the ledger they double up on the later games trying to get out of the hole. This is a risky strategy for football wagering but one in which many bettors try.

As you look at money management in terms of football wagering you must remember that there are a lot of games each weekend. You have well over 50 games on a Saturday plus a full NFL slate on Sunday and Monday. Your bankroll must be prepared to handle a lot of plays if you bet in quantity and it must be prepared to handle the off week. You don’t want to lose all of your money in the first week. Keep that in mind as you think about your own money management and football wagers this year.
