Falcons Destroy Buccaneers in Prime Time NFL

NFL betting fans probably were left in shock as the Atlanta Falcons gave the Tampa Bay Buccaneers a thrashing that won’t be forgotten any time soon. Needless to say, the Falcons easily covered the spread, with the total going way OVER the line that was set by SBG Sportsbook.

By the end of the first half the Falcons were leading the Bucs at a 28-0. The game was a near a textbook example of how to play great offense versus what not to do on defense.

Tampa Bay displayed the most cringe-worthy display in a long time; they were no match for the powerhouse that was the combination of Julio Jones and Devin Hester. The final result was 56-14. The Falcon had already hinted that they are a force to be reckoned with this season on their week 1 performance against the Saints.

Coming into this game, Tampa Bay’s defense had several absences due to injuries, so right from the start their chances were not looking to good. Coach Lovie Smith has not been able to turn things around for the Buccaneers, as last night’s humiliating defeat will put him on a tough stop.

His coaching abilities are now the center of all criticism from experts around the league. His stubbornness to stick to Josh McCown as starting QB over Mike Glennon has earned him the ire of the Bucs fans. The way things are going for Tampa Bay, NFL betting fans of the Bucs can expect a long and tortuous season for them.

With their performances on week 1 and last night’s blowout victory, the Falcons are sending a clear message to the league that they have their eyes on a post season run that could very well lead them to the top of the NFC South. However, they still have tougher tests ahead of them. Time will tell, but the question of every NFL Betting enthusiasts is: Are the Atlanta Falcons THAT good?
