Eddie Royal Set for Big Year of Bet on Football

December 1, 2010 NFL Football

Bet on football could be impacted in 2009 by Denver wide receiver Eddie Royal. He had a nice year in 2008 but he could have a great year this season and impact football betting.

To bet on football at the sportsbook this season is going to be different on the Broncos. Denver has a new head coach, a new quarterback and a new system entering the football betting season. One player that returns who should have an impact in bet on football is Eddie Royal. He is quickly becoming a favorite receiver for quarterback Kyle Orton and backup quarterback Chris Simms. Head coach Josh McDaniels also has good things to say about Royal. "He sticks out every day," Denver coach Josh McDaniels said. "Eddie is a very talented player, a lot of ability, very smart, versatile. We move him all over the field. He’s very unselfish, wants to do what’s best for the team. He’s accepted his role and he’s doing a great job with it so far."

Last bet on football season Royal set team rookie records for with 91 receptions, 980 yards receiving, and five TD’s. He made some other bet on football history as for the first time since 1970 he led a team with the longest run, reception, kickoff return and punt return. He had four games with nine or more catches as bet on football tells us. In one of those games he had a rookie record 11 catches as bet on football numbers indicate.

Denver has not been in the playoffs for three straight years and changes were made in the football betting off-season. Bet on football tells us that long-time coach Mike Shanahan is gone and Pro Bowl quarterback Jay Cutler is in Chicago. Star wide receiver Brandon Marshall is unhappy as bet on football shows, but in camp. Royal is sure happy though. And he is getting better all the time. "His talent — you guys have seen it — speaks for itself," Simms said. "He’s unbelievably quick and fast and has very surprising strength for somebody his size as well."

Football betting tells us that McDaniels is hoping that Royal can do many of the same things that Wes Welker does with the Patriots. Keep in mind with bet on football stats that Welker had 111 catches last season. If Royal has that many catches this season he is going to be a player to watch in bet on football at the sportsbook.
