Even though Week Three featured stunning upsets that does not mean a carry over effect will take place again. In fact, teams are now on full alert about the possibility of shocking upsets with NFL bets. Along the same lines Detroit pulled off one of the most stunning wins of last week. The Lions scored a remarkable 26-10 win over New England as seven-point home dogs. Meanwhile Dallas continued its sluggish ways with a dispiriting loss at Seattle. Quarterback Dak Prescott continues to struggle to find the form of his rookie season. Once again Dallas has been overlays.

Dallas Cowboys
Dallas is 1-2 straight up and with NFL bets. Also, all three of the Cowboys games have gone under the total. So far Dallas has been half a team for the 2018 season. For example, they rank 30th in the NFL for total offense but third for defense. So too has Prescott been part of the offensive problems. To illustrate his quarterback rating is 74.9 with just two touchdown passes. It follows that Prescott has also been sacked 11 times. Seattle controlled the Cowboys last week 24-13. After all their 0-2 start was quite the buzz kill. As a consequence of new head coach Matt Patricia have the Lions seen some improvement so far. To illuminate the Lions, rank ninth for overall offense and seventh for defense. However, quarterback Matt Stafford has been inconsistent with an 83.4 rating. And Stafford has a wild 6/5 touchdown to interception ratio.
Stats to Consider
In contrast to their public reputation Detroit has been a decent road dog wagering value. Consider their mark of 4-2 vs. the line in that role. Three of their last four as away pups went over the total. Balanced against that are the Cowboys strong numbers as home favorites. To illuminate Dallas has not lost vs. the odds in their last six games as home chalks.
Team vs. Team
Head to head the Cowboys have paid in seven of their last 11 against the Lions. Additionally, eight of the last ten between these teams have gone over the total. In this situation at Dallas the Cowboys are 4-3 with the line vs. Detroit. Four of the last five in this series at Dallas have gone over the number. Although it is true that Dallas is struggling on offense they likely have plenty of upside. At first glance their numbers are awful but most believe their personnel is better than shown.
Matchup to Watch
Accordingly, the Lions are now celebrated for vanquishing the Patriots. Granted, Dallas has looked bad but this should be a good NFL bets spot for the Cowboys. Likewise, the Lions will have a hard time reaching their level of performance last Sunday night.
