The Jets had hoped to win this game for the sake of their Coach Rex Ryan which could possibly save his job, but their hope was crushed by a completely loss to the Bills, which was somewhat embarrassing, and may have sealed his elimination. The Jets managed 11 first downs on 57 total plays for 218 total yards, with 126 passing and 92 rushing with one turnover, while possessing the ball for 29:06 minutes of the 60 minute game. The Jets only score in the game was a 1st quarter 27 yard FG by Jets kicker Folk with 1:01 left in the quarter.
