Bills and Dolphins Kick Off Strong NFL Week 3

Bills and Dolphins Kick Off Strong NFL Week 3

At the onset of Week 3 is a strong matchup on Prime Video from the AFC East. Specifically, the Miami Dolphins will visit the Buffalo Bills in a matchup that will help factor in who wins the division. Miami is coming off an 8-9 season and missed the AFC playoffs. Of course, the main NFL odds problem is a soft team led by head coach Mike McDaniel, who cries with players when they are injured on the field. While that might make him a decent human being, he has not shown quality leadership as a head coach.

NFL Week 3 Overview

Equally important is the continued injury problems of QB Tua Tagovailoa. McDaniel would have been fired by almost any organization after last year’s sportsbook flop, but somehow survived. The matchup at Buffalo will be a brutal test agaisnt a Bills team that is thinking Super Bowl.

In the early afternoon window on Sunday, an interesting interconference matchup is the Cincinnati Bengals at the Minnesota Vikings. To illustrate, Minnesota had an impressive 2024 season, finishing 14-3. At the same time, they were trying to trade QB Sam Darnold, who is now with the Seattle Seahawks. Now, JJ McCarthy, who was drafted in the first round by Minnesota in 2024, takes over as the starting QB. McCarthy is best known for leading the Michigan Wolverines to the 2023 national championship.

By contrast, the Bengals have not been at the same NFL betting odds level as when they won the 2021 AFC title. Eventually, they lost a close one in the Super Bowl to the Los Angeles Rams.

In the late window on Sunday, the Denver Broncos will visit the Los Angeles Chargers. Specifically, it is a matchup of 2024 playoff teams who are also aspiring to knock off the Kansas City Chiefs’ dynasty and take over the AFC West.

Meanwhile, the Chiefs will visit the New York Giants on NBC’s Sunday Night Football. Kansas City is a team to keep a close eye on after their Super Bowl flop against the Philadelphia Eagles. Somehow, Brian Daboll returned as head coach of the Giants. Following his second consecutive failed season, which followed a surprise playoff run in 2022.

Namely, Daniel Jones was run out of town and will be replaced by Russell Wilson with Jameis Winston as his backup. It is a do-or-die season for Daboll and Big Blue. In turn, popular Kansas City will get a price break on the road.
