At the onset of this season Baltimore coach John Harbaugh had one of the hottest seats in the NFL.  A 47-3 opening day win over Buffalo cooled his fanny for a moment.  But last week the Ravens lost at Cincinnati 34-23 to get right back in the soup.  Admittedly, the Ravens almost fired Harbaugh after last year’s subpar Betting on NFL results.  Owner Steve Bisciotti was quoted as saying it was a very close call.  Starting with this week’s game against Denver the pressure is on full blast.  Consider the new look Broncos are resurgent.

Denver Broncos

Denver is 2-0 straight up but 0-1-1 against the spread.  Account of a 20-19 home win over Oakland has kept them unblemished.  Encompassing the win was a rally from 19-7 down late in the third quarter.  The big key for Denver is running back Phillip Lindsay.  To show Lindsay has 178 yards with 6.1 yards per carry.  Also helping is new quarterback Case Keenum.  While his numbers are not great he is legitimate enough to keep defenses honest.

Baltimore Ravens

Starting with defense the Ravens also have Betting on NFL assets.  To exemplify Baltimore has the NFL’s second ranked overall defense so far.  In turn their secondary was lit up by Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton for 265 yards and four touchdowns last week.  Still the unit is expected to be far more effective than last year.  Most important of all has been the improved play of quarterback Joe Flacco.  For example, Flacco has a 93.5 quarterback rating with a 5/2 touchdown to interception ratio.

Stats to Consider

Denver has been one of the worst betting values as a road dog in the NFL.  On the whole the Broncos have failed to get the cash in eight of their last nine in that situation.  Denver has gone under the total in five of their last eight as pups away from home.  Conversely the Ravens have been a poor value as a home chalk.  To show Baltimore has paid in just three of their last 11 games laying points at MT&T Stadium.  Four of their last five in that situation went under the total.

Team vs. Team

Denver has had the recent Online wagering upper hand in their series with Baltimore.  To be exact the Broncos have covered the spread in the last two meetings.  Four of the last five between these teams went over the total.  However, at Baltimore it’s been another story.  To show the Ravens have come away with the money in five of their last six home games with Denver.  Three of the last five between these teams at MT&T Stadium went over the total.

Matchup to Watch

Indeed, Denver has shown far better so far in 2018.  Thought his may be true Baltimore will be their stiffest Betting on NFL test so far.  Alternatively, the play of Flacco makes him the most valuable player on the field.  It follows that Baltimore will be motivated to get back on track.
