Bet on the Patriots

The 2009 Bet on the Patriots are simply not as good as the team two years ago that went unbeaten. Even with Tom Brady back, making a bet on the New England Patriots is not a guaranteed winner. Bet on New England and you will get excitement though.  With Tom Brady, Randy Moss and Wes Welker, the Patriots have an explosive offense. They do not, however, have a great defense. And it got even worse after Week 1 when they lost top linebacker Jerod Mayo to injury.  There is no question that making a bet on the New England Patriots will still be popular but it might not be profitable. The Patriots are simply not the juggernaut of a couple of years ago. That doesn’t mean you can’t win when you bet on the Patriots. The other issue when you make a bet on the Patriots is that New England is a very popular team that is almost always overvalued.  The Patriots are almost always laying points so when you bet on the New England Patriots you not only have to win the game but you have to cover the spread.

New England is the overall favorite to win Super Bowl XLIV.  Making a bet on the Patriots to win the Super Bowl gets you about 3.5 to 1.  Those are pretty low odds when you Bet on New England considering New England is simply not as good as they were a couple of years ago.  Brady is back but New England has weaknesses.  The schedule is no bargain either as you Bet on New England.  There are no guaranteed wins in the division and there are a lot of tough games outside of the division as you bet on the Patriots against teams like Atlanta, Indianapolis and Tennessee.  The time to bet on the Patriots might be when they head out on the road to places like Denver and Tampa Bay.

The 2009 Patriots will still be popular and making a Bet on New England  will be something that many people do.  Whether they cash when they Bet on New England is the question.
