The Jets come into this game after losing their road opener to the Pittsburgh Steelers, 27-10. Big Ben and the Steelers scored in every quarter, while shutting down the Jets for the entire second half of the game. New York could only manage a field goal in the first quarter, and a touchdown in the second, suffering a 331-219 deficit in offensive yards. QB Mark Sanchez had a terrible game, throwing 10-of-27, for 138 yards and the team’s only TD. WR Jeremy Kerley had a decent game, receiving twice and running for 67 yards, but remaining scoreless. Backup QB Tim Tebow may have been the only bright spot for the Jets, as he can still scare the Steelers: he had 1 carry for 22 yards. However, he was still used sparingly, with Sanchez carrying the team.

The Dolphins come into this game having won their home opener, defeating the Oakland Raiders 35-13. Rookie QB Ryan Tannehill threw 18-of-30 for 200 yards and a touchdown, while RB Reggie Bush ran for 172 yards on 26 carries. Bush exploded for two TDs in the process on 23 and 65 yard carries. The Dolphins held a 452-396 edge in offensive yards, but a huge 263-23 edge in rushing yards. Check the NFL Betting Lines for 49ers vs. Vikings Game.
