It’s been a long time since the Bengals entered the betting line NFL preseason as the second best team in Ohio, but that is the sad reality facing Cincy as it heads into the NFL preseason betting action.

Just several years ago this team looked to the Indy Colts of the future but a quick glance over this team’s record over that time period and it’s easy to understand why everyone involved in betting line NFL preseason action is so down on this team. Disgruntled players, in-fighting, arrests, bad luck and awful defense have all contributed to this teams down fall in the NFL preseason betting which has carried well past betting line NFL preseason action in the past few years and deep into the regular season as well.

It’s hard to know where to begin when trying to assess the Bengals for the betting line NFL preseason and beyond. The team enters the NFL preseason betting with one of the best QBs and receiving corps in the game. The offensive line is also one of the better units in the betting line NFL preseason. This team has had a running back by committee in much of the betting line NFL preseason and regular season and still resulted in 1,000 rushers.

But putting points on the board has rarely been a problem for the Bengals and that’s the same position the finds itself in as it enters the NFL preseason betting this year. Betting line NFL preseason assessments are that the Bengals will struggle again this year on defense. This is hardly news for veteran NFL preseason betting fans, as year in and year out it’s the same thing that dooms the betting line NFL preseason and regular season results for Cincy.

The team simply can’t keep its opponents from scoring and fans will likely see this early on in the betting line NFL preseason action. Despite spending numerous high draft picks and various resources the Bengals just can’t seem to get the defense right. And that is why they enter the betting line NFL preseason favorites to finish behind the Cleveland Browns.
