Baltimore Ravens at Pittsburgh Bet on Football

Bet on football lines are very close on a pivotal game in the AFC on Sunday as the Pittsburgh Steelers host the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens are in control of their playoff destiny but a loss to Pittsburgh could keep them out. The Steelers are 2.5 point NFL betting favorites in this game against Baltimore Ravens. Bet on football has the Ravens at 8-6 while the Steelers come into this game at 7-7. Last week both teams got wins although the Steelers had to do it in the last second. Baltimore had an easier time in their bet on football win as they routed Chicago 31-7. Joe Flacco threw a career-high four TD passes in the win. “Obviously, the last two games we’ve played well,” said tight end Todd Heap, “Defense made some big plays for us today and we were able to capitalize. We’ve talked about it over the past few weeks, starting faster. You can talk about it all you want, but the biggest thing is you have to do it.”

Baltimore seems to be peaking at the right time but all of it will be for nothing if they don’t carry that momentum to Pittsburgh. “Every week stands on its own,” head coach John Harbaugh said. “We’re going to come out with a new challenge against our archrivals next week at their place.”

Pittsburgh got a win last week as time expired to keep their playoff hopes alive. Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger threw for 503 yards and hit Mike Wallace with the game winning TD as time ran out as Pittsburgh beat Green Bay 37-36. The win ended Pittsburgh’s five-game losing streak. Roethlisberger broke the team record for passing yards that was 473 set by Tommy Maddox in 2002.

Baltimore has played well overall as they are 19-9 vs. the bet on football number in their last 28 games but they have struggled against their division going 2-5 ATS in their last 7 vs. the AFC North.

Pittsburgh has not done well at home versus the bet on football odds. The Steelers are 1-4 in NFL betting in their last 5 home games. They have also struggled within the division going 1-4 vs. the NFL betting line in their last 5 vs. the AFC North.

Six of the last eight Baltimore games have gone under in NFL betting. Four of the last five Pittsburgh games have gone over the bet on football total. The last five meetings in this bet on football series have gone over in Pittsburgh.
