Baltimore Ravens at Indianapolis NFL Betting

NFL betting favors the Indianapolis Colts on Saturday by about a touchdown as they host the Baltimore Ravens in playoff action. The Colts had a bye last week while the Ravens routed the New England Patriots in football betting.  CBS will televise this game on Saturday night. NFL betting has this game between the Ravens and Colts being a rematch of an earlier game this season. The Colts won at Baltimore by a score of 17-15 back in November. That game was one in which Baltimore had every chance to win but couldn’t get it done. The Colts held the Ravens to a field goal when Baltimore had a first and goal at the one yard line in the fourth quarter and that was a huge key.  This NFL betting matchup on Saturday night could be close as well. “We’ll play our game against the Colts; it’ll be our will against their will,” Baltimore running back Ray Rice said. “It’ll be a fourth-quarter game. The Xs and Os will take care of themselves. Playoff football is a little different from regular season. In the regular season, those plays are not being made.”

The problem for the Ravens is that the Colts have simply had their number lately. Indianapolis has won 8 of the last 10 against Baltimore and they are 6-3-1 against the football betting odds in those games.  Since Baltimore became the Ravens, they have never won at Indianapolis going 0-4. Last year the Ravens were routed at Indianapolis by a score of 31-3 in football betting.  Six of the last seven games between these two teams have gone under the NFL betting total.

Baltimore is now 4-4-1 on the road this season in NFL betting after last week’s road win at New England. The Colts are 3-4-1 in football betting at home this season.  The Colts had the 7th ranked offense in terms of points scored and that is even with starters barely playing the last two games. They had the 8th ranked defense as NFL betting stats indicated.   That defense was just 25th against the run though so Baltimore and Ray Rice could have some success running the ball in this game.  The Ravens had the third ranked defense in the league and they proved in the first NFL betting matchup against the Colts they can slow down Peyton Manning and the explosive Indianapolis offense.
