Baltimore Ravens 2025 NFL Draft

Since 2008, when John Harbaugh became head coach, the Baltimore Ravens have missed the NFL postseason playoffs only five times. In 2012, Baltimore made and won a Super Bowl, the second in franchise history. However, Ravens fans do not focus on the good. Instead, their attention is on how the Ravens are unable to get out of an AFC that the Kansas City Chiefs dominate. Quarterback Lamar Jackson is Most Valuable Player material. But Jackson has not taken the field on Super Sunday. Following the 2025 NFL Draft, the Ravens might be a little closer.

2025 Baltimore Ravens NFL Draft Team Review

  • Round 1: No. 27: Malaki Starks, S, Georgia
  • Round 2: No. 59: Mike Green, edge, Marshall
  • Round 3: No. 91: Emery Jones Jr., OT, LSU
  • Round 4: No. 129: Teddy Buchanan, LB, California
  • Round 5: No. 141: Carson Vinson, OT, Alabama A&M
  • Round 6: No. 178: Bilhal Kone, CB, Western Michigan
  • Round 6: No. 186: Tyler Loop, K, Arizona
  • Round 6: No. 203: LaJohntay Wester, WR, Colorado
  • Round 6: No. 210: Aeneas Peebles, DT, Virginia Tech
  • Round 6: No. 212: Robert Longerbeam, CB, Rutgers
  • Round 7: No. 243: Garrett Dellinger, G, LSU

Baltimore has a certain type of player that it prefers. Certainly, the Ravens stuck to that formula this year. To illustrate, the Ravens took Malaki Starks in the first round to pair with Kyle Hamilton. In turn, that gave Baltimore one of the league’s top safety pairings if Starks reaches his full potential.

Also, the Ravens landed Green in the second round. Consider that Green is rated a first-round sports betting talent who fell due to sexual assault allegations. Additionally, Jones is a value pick on the offensive line. But whether he sticks at tackle or kicks inside remains to be seen.

Overall, Baltimore found good value early. The Ravens continued their 2025 NFL futures strategy of taking advantage of teams not valuing safeties. Now they created an imposing secondary between Starks and Kyle Hamilton. Edge Mike Green is a good upside play that far down the board. Consider that if half of his college production translates to the professional level, he’ll be an impact player. In turn, gamblers like offensive tackle Emery Jones Jr., too. He could secure a guard spot for the Ravens with a good training camp. Lots of potential impact here.

Still, there are too many picks who haven’t performed against top-level competition. Offensive tackle Carson Vinson and cornerback Bilhal Kone aren’t battle-tested. Thus, they could really get exposed if they’re thrown into the fire too early.

Although cornerback Robert Longerbeam didn’t have to handle too many top-end talents. Correlate that with his weight, gamblers are not sure his size outlier nature will be a positive.

The Ravens are perennial contenders because they let the draft board come to them. Starks will be a playmaker no matter where he lines up. Green was still available late in Round 2 because of the off-field issues. However, he has a chance to provide a lot of value off the edge. In turn, Jones could be a solid starter at guard or tackle in time.

Buchanan met a need for Baltimore, and Peebles should immediately step into the D-line rotation. Additionally, the Ravens took a massive tackle in Vinson and a tough guard in Dellinger, who will compete for playing time early.
