Baltimore Ravens for Super Run With Jackson in the Fold

Baltimore Ravens for Super Run With Jackson in the Fold

Specifically for the Baltimore Ravens, everything is in place for a Super Bowl run. Lamar Jackson is back with a historic new contract. Baltimore used the top of its draft on Boston College star Zay Flowers. In turn, Flowers is a dynamic playmaker. He joins a wide receiver room that has more talent than it did at any previous time during Jackson’s tenure. Flowers Odell Beckham Jr. and Rashod Bateman are a legit trio. While Mark Andrews returns as one of the best playmaking tight ends with the NFL odds.

Baltimore faces different challenges at the start and the end of its season. For the first time since 2018, the Ravens face a stretch where they play four of their first six games on the road. And then, Baltimore closes the season by playing three straight games in December against playoff teams from last season. Specifically at Jacksonville, at San Francisco, and at home against Miami. That offshore betting slate is before hosting the Steelers in the regular-season finale.

The Ravens are on prime time four times this season. Including a Thursday night game at home against the Bengals. That game could go a long way in deciding the AFC North champion. Lamar Jackson has an impressive record on the road. To illuminate, he is 21-9, third best among those with at least 20 starts. And that record will be tested this season. Of great concern is that the Ravens will travel 25,442 miles. Including their second international game in franchise history. Last season, Baltimore traveled the second-fewest miles in the league (8,244).

2023 Baltimore Ravens Offseason Moves

So Lamar got his money and the supporting cast he’s desired for years. It’s time for the Ravens’ offense to fly again. Also, Baltimore swapped out Greg Roman for Todd Monken as offensive coordinator. And the defense finished third in scoring last year. Hence, it’s hard not to be excited by their NFL betting odds potential. Most important of all, Jackson must stay healthy for the first time in two years.
