The San Francisco 49ers remain the most talented offshore betting choice in the eyes of gamblers. The fact that the 49ers took the overtime lead against the Chiefs shows their ability. On the other hand, San Francisco had the chance to apply the dagger against Kansas City and failed to execute. Brocky Purdy is a superb game manager but not the playmaker that Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes is. Finally, 49er coach Kyle Shanahan has a poor record of finishing Super Bowls.
Chiefs Aim to Make History
No team has ever won three consecutive Super Bowl championships. The last team to win three pre-merger NFL championships was the Green Bay Packers (1965-67). Thus, Kansas City will have plenty of motivation with the NFL betting odds. Most important of all, the Chiefs boast the best QB in football, Patrick Mahomes. Coach Andy Reid and tight end Travis Kelce will return. And kicker Harrison Butker is the best kicker in football, perhaps in history.

Overall, there was no bigger disappointment in the 2023 NFL Playoffs than the Baltimore Ravens. Lamar Jackson and the Ravens had home field advantage in the AFC Playoffs. However, the Kansas City Chiefs shut down Jackson and the Ravens in the AFC championship game for an embarrassing loss. It was a frustrating end to the season for a team considered the most talented in the AFC. In turn, gamblers remain confident the Ravens can win it all based on their complete game.
Lions Roar for More in 2024
The Detroit Lions are in their best position to make the Super Bowl in team history. The Lions had the 49ers on the ropes in the NFC championship game but failed to finish. In a similar way to the 49ers the Lions have a complete team and a solid QB in Jared Goff. Detroit will enter the 2024 campaign with the confidence of a team that has learned to win.
Can Buffalo Pay the Bills?
Buffalo had a shot to make the Super Bowl but lost to their old nemesis, Kansas City, in the AFC divisional playoffs. Certainly the Bills are good, but not up to the level of the Chiefs or even the Ravens. Buffalo’s window is closing, but they may have one more run left in the tank. Still, gamblers see them as a viable option.
Cincinnati Bengals Can Leap with Burrow
The loss of superstar QB Joe Burrow to injury ruined the Bengals season. Correlate that Burrow is expected to return for the 2024 season 100% healthy. Cincinnati will be a legitimate threat that offers better value than other contenders.
