Last season was a great lesson on how teams and players can be easily overrated. Because of winning a few meaningless games at the end of 2017 San Francisco was a trendy pick for 2018 success. Furthermore, quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo was being touted as the savior of the 49ers. Garoppolo didn’t last three games before he was lost for the year due to injury. Bucs Begin New Era with Season Opener
At the onset of the 2019 season is the hopes of a new era at Tampa Bay. Former Cardinals coach Bruce Arians came out of retirement to lead the Bucs. Arians can lay claim to being one of the few head coaches to escape Arizona with a winning record. Indeed, he departed with a mark of 49-30-1 with two playoff seasons.
