West Virginia has their elusive breakout season in grasp. Following their move to the Big 12 Conference the Mountaineers have yet to fully break through. West Virginia is 8-1 straight up and 6-2-1 vs. the odds with a 5-4 mark on totals. Last week the Mounties destroyed TCU in a 47-10 home payout. It was the third consecutive win for West Virginia. The Mounties rank 10th in the nation for scoring offense. In the same way their much improved defense ranks 24th for points allowed.
