Temple at Ohio College Football Betting

College football betting on Friday includes a game that will decide the MAC East champion as Ohio hosts Temple. NCAA football betting has Temple as a three-point road favorite in this game that can be seen on ESPN U.  Much of the spotlight in college football on Friday will go to other higher profile games but this one in the MAC should be one of the best ones. College football betting has Temple at 9-2 overall and 7-0 in the MAC.  Last week it was Temple rolling in college football betting 47-13 over Kent State. It was the ninth straight win for Temple.  The Owls are bowl eligible for the first time since 1990.  Freshman running back Bernard Pierce leads the Owls with a freshman record 1,308 yards and 15 touchdowns on 224 carries. The key to this game will be Ohio’s ability to contain Pierce and the Temple rushing attack.

Ohio is 8-3 on the season and 6-1 in the MAC. Running back Chris Garrett is the Bobcats’ leading rusher with 513 yards and two touchdowns on 116 carries. Quarterback Theo Scott is 158-of-274 for 1,796 yards and 16 touchdowns.

This is only the third college football betting meeting between Temple and Ohio. The teams have split their previous two meetings including last year when Temple won 14-10.  Temple has been one of the best teams in college football betting this season. They are 8-2 against the NCAA football betting odds.  The Owls are 5-0 vs. the college football betting odds in their last 5 road games and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 Friday games. They are also 4-1 vs. the college football betting pointspread in their last 5 games as a road favorite. The Owls are 19-7-1 in college football betting in their last 27 conference games.

Ohio also has good numbers in college football betting. The Bobcats are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 Friday games and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games as an underdog. The Bobcats are 7-2 vs. the NCAA football betting odds in their last 9 conference games.

The last six Temple games have all gone over the college football betting total. Five of the last seven Temple road games have gone over in NCAA football betting.  Four of the last five Ohio home games have gone under in college football betting.
