Purdue Boilermakers

A clear difference exists for Purdue between this season and 2017.  As an illustration the Boilermakers are just 1-3 straight up and 2-2 against the spread.  What’s more the Boilermakers could be 4-0.  In like manner they have been their own toughest opponent this year.  In contrast to last year’s surprise bowl season Purdue has been undisciplined and its own worst enemy.  However last week the Boilers showed signs of getting back on track.  Purdue destroyed a ranked Boston College team 30-13 at home last week.  Quarterback David Blough threw for 296 yards and three touchdowns.

Nebraska Cornhuskers

Nebraska has a betting on NCAA Football record of 0-3 straight up and against the spread.  Last week was an absolute debacle. Consider as an illustration the Huskers 56-10 loss at Michigan.  It was no contest.  As a matter of fact, Nebraska was completely outclassed.  The Big Red were out-gained 491-132 in the loss at the Big House.  Granted Michigan was expected to win the game.  Despite that the final score and stats were a humiliating reality check for Nebraska.  Additionally, it was an indicator of just how far Frost has to go in his rebuild.

Stats to Consider

Nebraska has fallen like a rock as a home offshore bookmaker wagering value.  To illuminate the Huskers have failed to pay in their last nine games at Memorial Stadium.  Balanced against that is Purdue’s strong numbers on the road vs. the board.  Correlate the Boilermakers record of 11 payouts in their last 14 away games.  Seven of Purdue’s last eight road matchups went under the total.

Team vs. Team

Somehow a bad Nebraska team won at Purdue last year 25-24.  As a consequence, the revenge angle sets up well for the Boilermakers.  Consider they were a bowl team last year and Nebraska was not.  And then look at the current form of both teams.  Head coach Jeff Brohm looks to have Purdue back on track.  Along the same lines Nebraska has failed to cover their last two home games against Purdue.

Matchup to Watch

Above all Nebraska has hit rock bottom.  Compared to the Huskers weak play at quarterback David Blough gives Purdue a matchup advantage.  To show the Nebraska offense ranks 118th in the country for scoring.  Decidedly it’s a clear Betting on NCAA Football liability.
