College football betting begins with NCAA Division I football games starting in September and continues right through to the BCS Championship game held in January. The options available for college football betting at our sportsbook include weekly games, BCS odds, total team wins, odds to win in each conference, Heisman Trophy odds and more.

Getting Started with College Football Odds

In terms of college football betting odds, these are point-spreads or totals that the public may bet on each week during the college football season for any given team. The job of the college football betting odds maker is to put out betting lines that will attract action on both sides of the game. College football betting odds making is mainly an average of numbers and statistics but it is also partly a feel. A good college football betting odds maker will be able to see which way the public is likely to bet and make the odds accordingly. That does not always mean the college football betting line will be perfectly balanced as it should be. The line will probably be shaded toward the favorite in many instances because the public usually bets the favorite.

NCAA Football Betting Trends

NCAA football gambling also has more betting trends that prove to stand the test of time, when compared to NFL betting. College football gambling trends can be something the football betting players looks at a little more closely. The NCAA football betting board offers far more possibilities of weak lines than the NFL does. There are far more games and more possibilities for college football betting players to consider on Saturdays than Sundays. The NFL usually only has 15 games per week for football betting players while college has about 50. You can find some interesting possibilities on the college football bet board each week.

Analyzing and Handicapping

Analyzing a full week of NCAA football gambling games can be a daunting task but the good news is that you have almost a full week to do it. College football bet lines come out Sunday evening and the majority of the games are not until the next Saturday. That gives you plenty of time to plan out a strategy and pick out football betting winners for the NCAA football betting week. Also remember that we have a great mobile betting platform, meaning that you will be able to access all the information and even bet while you are on the road or even at a game.

Watch out for the Busy Schedule

For those football betting players that bet on both the colleges and the pros you will probably get most of them to tell you that college football, hands down, offers far more excitement than pro football. There is just so much going on during a college football betting Saturday. You have the early morning games, the noon games, the afternoon games, the evening games and even the Hawaii game. College football is a game of variety and excitement that even the NFL can’t match. Look at NCAA football betting this season and you will be very pleased.

NCAA Football odds: Arizona State Sun Devils vs. Washington State

Thursday night October 31st  NCAA Football odds are available at SBG Global for the game between the Arizona State SUN DEVILS (5-2, 1st PAC 12 South Division) visiting the Washington State COUGARS (4-4, 5th PAC  12 North Division) with kickoff at 10:30PM at Martin Stadium in Pullman, Washington for Halloween! The Sportsbook odds naturally favor the Sun Devils in this matchup and if you Bet on College Football take note that Arizona State has averaged 45.4 points in 7 games this season and for those same games gave up some 26.7 points to the opponents each game.  This season they have only played two away games thus far and in those games averaged some 31 points for each game and allowed the opponents in those same games some 38.5 points each game.  It appears that the Sun Devils have a team that could be BCS ranked at least in home games, the problem is they have been having problems playing the Road Games.  For this team to prove they stepped up they have to win this game against the Cougars then a win at Utah and UCLA , one or both.

Bet on College Football: Cincinnati Bearcats vs. Memphis Tigers

This Wednesday the NCAA FB moves on to Week # 10 at 8PM with the Cincinnati BEARCATS (5-2) of the American Athletic Conference visiting the Memphis TIGERS (1-5) also of the same conference in Memphis. The Offshore Betting odds on this game are naturally favoring the Bearcats in this matchup!  The Memphis Tiger are in their first season in the new American Athletic Conference after exiting the Conference USA and the AAC is now comprised of ten teams with the majority formerly of the East Conference or the USA.  Following this game with the Bearcats they will face UCF,  South Florida and Houston in a very competitive league as they gear up their competition. The major problem facing the Memphis team this season is the lack of experience and seasoned starters coupled with the move into a stronger conference.  Fuente, the Memphis Coach after their 34-29 loss against SMU explained why they played so poorly in the first half of that game which he stated as unacceptable. Part of the explanation projected the development of their offensive line with unseasoned  new players who at this point as a team are unable to dominate.

NCAA Football Odds: UCLA Bruins vs. Oregon

This Saturday for Sportsbook fans who love to Bet on College Football we have an exciting matchup with the # 12 ranked UCLA Bruins (5-1) visiting the #3 Oregon Ducks (7-0) in the famous Valley Willamette at Eugene Oregon with game time at 7PM (4PM Pacific), and the Ducks will be very interested in having an impressive victory after the BCS dropped them from No. 2 to No. 3 although they rank #2 in the so-called human voting polls.   In the last week's game for the UCLA Bruins they had their 1st loss of the season to Stanford 10-24 and were the visiting team, and unable to cover the 4 point underdog status that the Offshore Betting industry had allowed them.  They are very hopeful that the team can rebound against another top ten team after that loss to Stanford.  It was Stanfords strong defense that beat UCLA and the loss kept them out of the elite top ten for college football no they have to prepare for the mighty Ducks.

College Football Odds: Tennesse vs. Alabama

This Saturday NCAA football fans who wager at the Online Sportsbook and Bet on College games will be given the opportunity to see an exciting game between the # 1 Alabama Crimson Tide (7-0)  and the visiting Tennessee Volunteers 4-3) as both teams defend their ranks in this SEC conference game.  The general time for kickoff is at 3:30 Eastern Time and the game is played in Tuscaloosa, Alabama at the Bryant-Denny Stadium. This is a game that SBG Global has the opening line with Alabama at -28.

Last week was both of these SEC teams won, with Bama crushing Arkansas 52-0 as the team amassed some 352 yards on the ground with a total of 532 yards of offense.  Thus the Tide continues to be a heavy favorite, despite the fact that Tennessee had an impressive upset victory over South Carolina 23-21 and the Gamecocks had their four game winning streak broken and their QB Shaw left the game with a sprained knee.  Thus the Volunteers team showed a great deal of overall team improvement in the win along with the aide of a time expiring field goal by Mike Palardy. That play was a result of the great catch by a freshman wide receiver on the 26 yard line of South Carolina followed by four running plays that took the ball to 2 yard line of the Gamecocks. This was the 1st time since back in 2009 that Tennessee has beaten a ranked opponent, and that just happened to also be the Gamecocks also.
