Oklahoma State at Oklahoma NCAA Football Betting

NCAA football betting favors Oklahoma on Saturday against Oklahoma State even though it is the Cowboys who are ranked and playing for a BCS bowl.

The Sooners are 9.5 point favorites in college football betting in this Saturday matchup. NCAA football betting has Oklahoma State ranked #11 in the country and 6-1 in the Big 12 yet they are underdogs against Oklahoma. The Sooners are unranked and yet almost a double-digit favorite in college football betting.

“We’re not going to expect to be favored down there just because of what we’ve done this year,” Oklahoma State linebacker Andre Sexton said. Last week against Colorado in a game that Oklahoma State won but didn’t cover in NCAA football betting, quarterback Zac Robinson did not play.  He should be ready for Saturday’s game though.

The Sooners have won six straight in the series against the Cowboys.  Oklahoma is only 6-5 overall and 4-3 in the Big 12 this season. The five losses are the most the Sooners have had in an NCAA football betting season since Bob Stoops took over as head coach back in 1999.

Oklahoma has won 49 of their last 50 home games including 29 in a row.  They should be tested here against an Oklahoma State team that is 8-3-1 in NCAA football betting in their last 12 road games.  Oklahoma has normally been good in November as they are 6-2 in NCAA football betting in their last 8 games in November. This year the Sooners have not been a good NCAA football betting favorite as they are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games as a favorite. The favorite is 4-0 in college football betting in the last 4 meetings between the Sooners and Cowboys. The home team in this college football series is 8-3 ATS in the last 11 meetings. The Cowboys are 1-4 in NCAA football betting in their last 5 meetings at Oklahoma.

Ten of the last twelve Oklahoma State road games have gone under in NCAA football betting.  10 of the last 12 Oklahoma games overall have gone under in NCAA football betting.  Five of the last seven Sooner home games have gone under in college football betting.  The only thing that points to an over is that five of the last seven meetings between the two teams have gone over the NCAA football betting total.
