NCAA Football Betting – Purdue at Notre Dame on NBC

The Brian Kelly era begins at Notre Dame on Saturday, September 4th as the Fighting Irish host Purdue in an NCAA football betting contest that can be seen on NBC.

Kelly is the new head coach at Notre Dame and expectations are high that he can turn the Irish into a top team again, perhaps even this season.  The Irish are 11-point favorites and are getting some action from those making a college football bet at Sbgglobal.

NCAA football betting on this game will get extra attention since the game is on NBC.  It is also of interest because it is the first game for Notre Dame under Brian Kelly. He did a great job at Cincinnati and he will try and do the same at Notre Dame.

Purdue:  The Boilermakers have a new starting quarterback but he is a name you may remember.  Robert Marve is the man at Purdue now. He transferred from Miami of Florida and then had to sit out last year. Marve has a very strong arm and he as a great target to throw to in Keith Smith who led the Big 10 in receiving last year.

The offensive line for Purdue is a question as only two starters return. The defense is led by Ryan Kerrigan who led the Big Ten in sacks last year. The secondary is a major question mark as all of last year’s starters are gone.

Notre Dame:  The Fighting Irish lose Jimmy Clausen but they return wide receiver Michael Floyd who is one of the best in the country.  They also have a very good tight end in Kyle Rudolph. The defense is just so-so for the Irish but again, Kelly will get the most out of them.

The new quarterback is Dayne Crist and he has the potential to make Notre Dame Fans forget all about Clausen.

Notre Dame Will Score: The Fighting Irish are going to score. Purdue’s defense is not very good and Michael Floyd will have a big day.  Brian Kelly’s teams at Cincinnati were very good offensively and he will get the Irish to move the ball.

Parlay?  A Notre Dame and over parlay might be worth a shot in this game.  The Irish should score and unless Purdue is a major surprise they should also cover.
