NCAA Online Betting – Oregon at Arizona State

NCAA online betting action for Saturday night includes what could be a Pac 10 shootout as Arizona State will host #6 Oregon at 10:30 PM Eastern on FSN. Sbg global.com opened with the Oregon Ducks as 11.5-point road favorites over the Arizona State Sun Devils and with an over/under of 54.5.

Mean Green Scoring Machine
The Oregon Ducks have the number one ranked offense in all of college football and its explosiveness has been impressive to its backers and frightening to those who bet against them.  Oregon has scored no less than 48 points in any of their 3 games so far as they are 3-0 both straight up and against the spread with 2 out of the 3 games going over the total.

Plenty of Weapons
Oregon is led by sophomore running back LaMichael James, who has 361 yards and insane 12.0-yards per carry average with 3 touchdowns.  Sophomore Darron Thomas has been an impressive replacement to Jeremiah Masoli at quarterback as he has completed 53% of his passes for 562 yards and a nice 8/2 touchdown to interception ratio.  Senior Jeff Maehl is leading the Ducks in receiving with 13 catches for a 17.2 yards per reception average with 2 touchdowns.

The Biggest Surprise
Oregon has the top ranked defense in College football betting both for yards and points permitted, which is a major improvement from last year when they allowed 24 points per game.  If the defense can hold their end of the bargain Oregon will have enough balance to go all the way.

A Money Machine
Oregon has not been in the red for 7 consecutive seasons to rank as one of the most profitable teams in all of NCAA online betting.  With an offense that can literally score at will and a rock ribbed defense this is a team that will garner plenty of action and money their way in the weeks to come.

Rebuilding at the Wrong Time
Arizona State is 2-1 both straight up and against the spread as they have 13 new starters for 4th year head coach Dennis Erickson, who has presided over back to back losing seasons after a 10-3 mark in his first year.  Last week the Sun Devils lost at Wisconsin 20-19 as 11.5-point dogs due to a game tying extra point attempt being blocked.  This is not a good time for a rebuilding team to run into Oregon.
