The Wisconsin Badgers are heavily favored in NCAA online betting as they host Northwestern on Saturday.
The Badgers are in prime position to win the Big 10 and they are not going to let this game get away. They should roll over Northwestern in college football betting.
Wisconsin -23, total 57.5 at SBG
The Badgers should win this game big. They are facing a Northwestern team without their starting quarterback and a team that can’t stop the run. If you can’t stop the run then you have no chance against Wisconsin. The Badgers have scored 131 points and 695 yards rushing against Indiana and Michigan. They have won six straight overall and with a win will almost assuredly win the Big 10 title since the tiebreaker is the BCS standings and they are ahead of both Ohio State and Michigan State in the BCS. That would but the Badgers into the Rose Bowl for the first time since 2000.
Run to Victory
The Badgers can run the ball and it doesn’t matter who is back there. Big Ten offensive player of the year John Clay hasn’t even played recently but the Badgers haven’t missed a beat. Backups James White and Montee Ball have been just as good and even if Clay is ready for this game he will not get the start. Ball is averaging 155.6 yards rushing in his last three games. Northwestern beat Iowa a couple of weeks ago but they lost quarterback Dan Persa in the process. With Persa out the team has basically given up. They were run over last week by Illinois as they gave up 330 yards rushing. It could get ugly in this game as the Badgers are better than the Illini.
