In this game between the 2 undefeated Big 12 rivals in No. 5 Horned Frogs playing the No. 12 Cowboys , and it’s a game both want to win in order to stay in the play for a spot in this seasons College Football Playoffs.

For the fans of the Horned Frogs of TCU your QB Boykin had another great game with their win 40-10 over West Virginia. QB Boykin against the Mountaineers was able to pass for some 389 yards and 3 TD’s and no interceptions in the game. His prime target was J. Doctson had 11 receptions for 184 yards while scoring 2 TD’s. That duo of Boykin and Doctson is 1 of the NCAA best as Boykin ranks 5th in passing yards averaging 368 each game while Doctson is 1st in NCAA with 156 average yards on receptions and scoring 14 TD’s to date.

In this game the Cowboys defense can be challenging for TCU, but they can overcome that as Boykin, Doctson and RB A. Green combined could bust this game open if all step up at the same time since the Horned Frogs to date are averaging some 49 points each game. The TCU offense and a defense that has limited opposing teams to just 24 points each game makes the Horned Frogs a difficult opponent for the Cowboys.

In this game the TCU offense will seek to protect their QB Boykin against the Cowboys pass rush that has a top rating. Granted QB Boykin can scramble and avoid the sacks, but their offensive line has allowed the least sacks this season in the conference at 6! The Horned Frogs in their ultimate 7 games on the road are with 7 wins and 0 losses straight up.

For the fans of the undefeated No. 12 Cowboys of Oklahoma State 8-0 you know your team last Saturday had a big win over Texas Tech 70-53 and now they travel to Stillwater, were the will seek to upset the No. 5 undefeated Horned Frogs of TCU 8-0. In that game with Texas Tech their QB M. Rudolph completed 21 of his 35 passing attempts for 286 yards and 1 TD. But if the Cowboys are to win this game their QB Rudolph will have to have a better game this Saturday against TCU.

Offensively the Cowboys displayed their potential against the Red Raiders last Saturday, but their defense can be proud of the 644 yards of offense they allowed Texas Tech to accumulate in that game. The Horned Frogs are a team of a higher level than the majority of teams in the Big 12, so Oklahoma State must get their defense to step up their game, as their pass defense which is 3rd in the conference allowing opponents only 219 yards in a game may not hold up against the powerful TCU offense.

The Cowboys have thrived this season as a result of their [ass defense which ranks 1st in the Big 12 with 30 QB sacks to date. They have a star studded duo in E. Ogbah and J. Bean in their pass rush roster and both have combined for 15 sacks and that ranks 5th in the conference.

The prediction for this game which many will not want to accept is that the Cowboys of Oklahoma State will overcome the Horned Frogs of TCU and win the game 45-42.
