NCAA Football – Ole Miss at Crimson Tide-Preview

We head into week 3 of the 2015 NCAA Football Regular season and we are previewing the No. 17 Rebels of Ole Miss who are playing at the No. 2 Crimson Tide of Alabama with the game being played at the Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on Saturday the 19th of September with the kick-off scheduled for 9:15 PM ET and seen on ESPN TV.

This season the Rebels are performing with a very strong defense, and have added an offense that bust out at any moment and put points on the scoreboard. This game with the Crimson Tide will be a great test for 2 teams seeking the lead in the conference.

For the fans the Bet on College football at an Offshore Betting site, and are fans of the Rebels of Ole Miss, you remember that in 2014 your team lead the nation for scoring defense at 16 points allowed in each game, and this year are expected to be as good if not better on defense. To date this season in their 1st 2 games they have only allowed the opponents to score some 16 points.

The interesting start for this 2015 season is the Rebel’s blowout scores in their 1st 2 games as the beat UT-Martin in their 1st game 76- and in their 2nd and last game the beat Fresno State 73-21. The Ole Miss junior QB C. Kelly has been their star performer passing in those 1st 2 games for some 458 yards and 6 TD’s with just 1 intercept, and he scored 2 rushing TD’s.

The Rebels have a lot of offensive weapons has they had 4 different players score a TD in the 1st week, as C. Core, Q. Adeboyejo, M. Pack and D. Lodge scored. WR Adeboyejo outdid the pack as he had 5 receptions for 122 yards and scored 3 TD’s in the 2nd week. The Rebels hope QB Kelly can have success against the Tide’s defense against the pass which game up some 420 yards in the 1st 2 games of this season.

The Ole Miss defense and their DB’s in Elston and Brown who each had an interception and scored 6 points on same in week 2, and are actions to test the Tide’s senior QB Coker whom to date in his career has 2 intercepts and just 7 TD’s to date. Unfortunately in the last 5 times Ole Miss traveled to Tuscaloosa they lost all 5 games but were 4 and 1 ATS.

For the fans of the Crimson Tide of Alabama, your team lost several players in the offseason, but remain solid with RB D. Henry and QB J. Coker leading the team. QB Coker who their game with Middle Tennessee in the 1st half passed for 215 yards with 1 TD and 1 intercept, while RB Henry had 18 carries in the game for 98 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Alabama is starting 2 receivers as they seek to replace departed star receiver A. Cooper in R. Foster with 2 TD’s to date, and K. Drake with 1 TD to date, and they are the only receivers who have scored TD’s this season. With the threat of the pass of the Tide, that can open up running lanes against the Rebels defense that has allowed the opponents 100 yards rushing in their 2 games to date.

The Tide defense should be able to pressure the Rebels QB Kelly as J. Allen and M. Fitzpatrick have had a combined 3 sacks to date this season. If the Tide can halt the Rebel passing game, but then has to watch the running game of Ole Miss that has rushed in the 1st 2 games some 554 yards and scored 9 TD’s. Alabama in the ultimate 10 home games have won 9 of those games. The prediction is that the Rebels of Ole Miss will upset the Crimson Tide of Alabama and ruin the Tides bid for a 2 straight CFP ranking.
