NCAA Football Betting – Oregon at Tennessee on ESPN 2

Two teams that won by a combined 122-0 last week in NCAA football betting meet on Saturday as Oregon visits Tennessee in a game that can be seen on ESPN 2. The Ducks destroyed New Mexico 72-0 last week while Tennessee shut out Tennessee-Martin 50-0.  The Ducks are solid favorites on the road and should get the nod by those gamblers making a college football bet.

How good is Oregon? – The Ducks are ranked 7th in the country and a lot of people believe they are a national title contender.  They sure looked the part last week in the destruction of New Mexico. And they did it without LaMichael James who was suspended. He comes back this week to give the Ducks a potent one-two punch with Kenjon Barner. Last week Barner had 147 yards and five touchdowns. New quarterback Darron Thomas had 220 yards and two touchdowns. With James returning this week the Ducks are going to be tough to stop on offense.

Tennessee Coming off a Shutout – The Volunteers are coming off their first shutout in seven years. It was the head coaching debut for Derek Dooley and it really went well. Tauren Poole rushed for 110 yards and had a pair of touchdowns.  There was some bad news that came out of that game as Tennessee lost top receiver Gerald Jones to injury and he will miss at least the next two games.

Oregon is a 12.5 point favorite at Sbg global with the total on the game at 53.5. The Ducks have been good in September recently going 16-7 ATS in their last 23 games in September.  The Volunteers are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 home games but they are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 vs. the Pac-10.

Over Looks Good – The Ducks are going to score. That much is for sure. Tennessee should also put some points on the board which means this game could go over the NCAA football betting total. The Over is 7-1 in the Ducks last 8 games overall.  The Over is 7-3-1 in the Ducks last 11 non-conference games. The Over is 6-1 in the Volunteers last 7 games overall. The Over is 4-1 in the Volunteers last 5 home games.
