Michigan at Michigan State NCAA Football Betting

NCAA football betting has seen the line on the Michigan-Michigan State game move toward the Spartans. The Wolverines may be the ranked squad but the Spartans at the college football betting favorite in this contest. NCAA football betting has Michigan State as a 3-point home favorite against the 22nd-ranked Wolverines.  This will be the first road college football betting test of the season for the unbeaten Wolverines and it will not be hard to get inspired against a Big 10 rival. “Can we play all 12 at home?” head coach Rich Rodriguez said. “You’ll find out a lot about your team in a tough road environment, and we’re getting ready to do that.”

Michigan was fortunate to win last time out against Indiana but they have been much better than expected this NCAA football betting season led by quarterback Tate Forcier.  He has already thrown two game winning TD passes in the first four NCAA football betting games.  He beat Notre Dame with a late TD throw and then beat Indiana with a late score.  He should find success against the Big 10’s worst secondary.  NCAA football betting stats show that Michigan State has given up 10 TD passes.  The Spartans have lost three straight but could be ready for a big NCAA football betting game against the Wolverines. “I think it’s a little easier to bounce back from these past two weeks or three weeks when you’re playing Michigan,” Michigan State quarterback Kirk Cousins said. “You understand you have to put it behind you, learn from it and really get ready to go. I don’t think there will be any ‘poor mes’ or any down attitude, understanding what we’ve got to do Saturday.”

Michigan has some conflicting NCAA football betting trends for this game. They are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games as a road underdog but they are 1-4 in NCAA football betting in their last 5 road games.   Michigan State’s college football betting numbers are no better. The Spartans are 11-23 ATS in their last 34 games as a home favorite. The Spartans are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games overall.

Looking at the NCAA football total we see that 7 of the last 8 Michigan road games have gone over the college football betting total.  7 of the last 9 Michigan conference games have gone over the NCAA football betting total.  10 of the last 13 Michigan State Big 10 games have gone over in NCAA football betting.
