Thursday NCAA Betting – Florida State at NC State on ESPN

A key Atlantic Division battle in the ACC in NCAA betting will be shown on ESPN on Thursday night as Florida State visits North Carolina State.

The Seminoles are 4-0 in the conference while the Wolfpack are 2-1.  This should be an excellent game to watch and to wager on in college football betting at the Sbg global sportsbook.

Pondering the Seminoles
The Seminoles are hoping that quarterback Christian Ponder is healthy for Thursday night.  The Seminoles had a bye last week and Ponder rested his swollen right arm. He did finally return to practice on Saturday and looked good.

FSU Wins on Thursdays
The Seminoles have won their last two games on Thursday night.  The won at NC State in 2008 and they won at North Carolina on Thursday last season. The problem if you like Florida State in this game is that they are 0-8-1 ATS in their last 9 meetings against NC State and they are 0-3-1 ATS in their last 4 meetings at North Carolina State.

NC State Offense vs. FSU Defense
The outcome of this game could come down to the NC State offense and quarterback Russell Wilson against the Florida State defense.  The Seminoles are the best in the league in scoring defense and they have the number two rated defense overall in the ACC.  The Wolfpack lead the conference in scoring and in total offense so this is a battle of wills.

Last season these two teams played a great game that resulted in 87 points being scored.  Wilson had five TD passes in that game but NC State lost 45-42.
