NCAA Betting – Denard Robinson and Michigan on ESPN 2 vs. Bowling Green

The nation gets a chance to see Heisman Trophy candidate Denard Robinson on Saturday in NCAA betting as Michigan hosts Bowling Green. It should be fun to watch Robinson as he runs all over the field against a poor Bowling Green team. The Wolverines are favored in college football betting but the Michigan defense is not very good so there is no guarantee they will cover the big points. Robinson didn’t have to run quite as much last week for Michigan but he still had a big game overall.  He had 345 total yards and three touchdowns. The Michigan defense was rotten last week and Robinson had to play the entire game as the Wolverines won by just five points.

Michigan in the Top 25 – The Wolverines are ranked in the Top 25 although you would not know it by how badly their defense played last week. Michigan is 3-0 though and should be 4-0 after this game is over.

Robinson’s Brilliance – You really can’t understate just how good Robinson has been. He is looking at a record season as he is on pace for more than 2,000 yards rushing and throwing. He would be the first player in NCAA history to do that.  He was 10 of 14 for 241 yards passing last week.  He ran 17 times for 104 yards.

Over the Total Again?  With Michigan playing such horrible defense it may not be a bad idea to just take them over the total every week.  Robinson has been unstoppable on offense and the defense keeps giving up points.  It sounds like another high scoring game on Saturday and this one you can watch on ESPN 2 and bet at SBG.

NCAA Betting Trends – The Falcons are 3-0-1 ATS in their last 4 non-conference games. You might not be aware of this but Bowling Green is 7-0-1 ATS in their last 8 games overall and they are 19-6-1 ATS in their last 26 road games. The Wolverines are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 vs. the MAC and the Wolverines are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 home games.  Remember what we said about the total?  The Over is 4-1 in the Falcons last 5 non-conference games.
