This is the season ending game for the Wildcats of Kansas State and they need a win to secure a bowl game invitation at 5 and 6, while the Mountaineers of West Virginia have a bowl invitation after they won last Saturday the 7th game.

Gibson is seeking a great game up against the weak Wildcat defense for passing. This past Saturday he had 6 receptions for 150yards and a TD.
Defensively they hope to have a big game as they have the record in the Big 12 with 19 interceptions this season, and the Wildcats have not been a passing team this season as they are only averaging some 180 yards each game passing, and have similar results for touchdowns and interceptions with 12 touchdowns and 9 interceptions for 2015. On defense the Mountaineers have DB’s Joseph and Woodley both with 5 interceptions in 2015, and in this game should make things interesting in the secondary for the team.
For the fans of the 5-6 Wildcats of Kansas State your team had a 2nd consecutive win and that puts their losing streak of six games in their past. In that 2nd win they beat their state rival Jayhawks of Kansas 45-14 this last Saturday, as the Wildcats special teams were in charge of the scores with 2 touchdowns of punts t hat went array in the 1st quarter of the game. But this offense may slow down against the Mountaineers as they have allowed the least touchdowns via the rush in the Big 12, and that’s 8 touchdowns this season.
Should the Wildcats not be able to score with the running offense, then they will need a strong effort from their defense to keep the Mountaineers from scoring. In their game with Kansas the Wildcats held the Jayhawks to less than 20 points, and that was for the 3rd time in 2015. If the Wildcats stop the Mountaineers passing game that will force West Virginia into a different rushing mode, and that fits the Wildcats defensive abilities. Because the Wildcats are among the best defense against the rush in the Big 12 allowing opponents to only an average of 165 yards running each game, and that unit is led by DL J. Willis who for the 2015 season has 11 tackles.
