Michigan Ready for Big Ten Betting on College Football Choice

2019 College Football National Championship Betting Odds

At the onset of spring football, the Ohio State Buckeyes were still the top favorite from the Big Ten to win the 2019 national championship.  Yet there are profound concerns about the scarlet and grey.  First and foremost is the “retirement” of head coach Urban Meyer.  In fact, the Betting on college football conventional wisdom is that the Michigan Wolverines are finally ready to roll.  Jim Harbaugh is now in his fifth season as the head man of the Maize and Blue.  While he has been a success the program has not lived up to championship expectations when he arrived.

Jim Harbaugh

Certainly, Harbaugh has been better than his critics assessments.  He had a serious look at a national championship in 2016.  And has posted three 10-win seasons in four years in Ann Arbor.  Yet Harbaugh is best known for one thing.  He has never beaten Ohio State.  Now that Meyer has “retired” it is believed that the window is open for the M-Men.  Extending the rap on Harbaugh was all of the early hype and tweets in his first two seasons.  Only a Big Ten championship can quiet his many naysayers.

Josh Gattis

Now the big news is that new offensive coordinator Josh Gattis is actually going to have control of the Michigan offense.  Many college football observers are “from Missouri” on that one.  After all Harbaugh has never allowed his offensive coordinators to call plays.

Madison, Wisconsin

Of major concern to many gamblers is what is going on in Madison, Wisconsin.  After being picked for the College Football Playoff at the start of 2018, UW proved not ready for prime time.  In fact, the sloppy Badgers finished 8-5 straight up with only four covers all season.  Alex Hornibrook, the winningest quarterback in program history, has departed for Florida State.  Naturally there is all kinds of speculation as to why Hornibrook would surrender his senior season as a Badger.  As a result, four quarterbacks are battling for the starting gig.

There Is No Place like Nebraska

When it comes to starting quarterbacks “There Is No Place Like Nebraska.”  Starting with Adrian Martinez is the Big Red set for a breakout season.  Spring camp reports bring nothing but good news about attitude and rapid development.  Second year head coach Scott Frost is now developing the culture he wants.  And with the West Division down Nebraska looks primed for Betting on college football profits.

Penn State

Penn State looks like a team that could decline as an offshore betting value.  More emphatically head coach James Franklin has not moved the needle as was expected when he took over as the program’s proclaimed savior in 2014.

Matchup to Watch

In this situation Nebraska would be a potential Betting on college football value to consider.  Most casual fans aren’t dialed in yet and therefore the price is still right.  Timing is everything and a Return to Glory seems to be primed for the Cornhuskers.
