Colorado at Toledo College Football Betting Line

College football betting line on Friday has Toledo hosting Colorado in an ESPN televised game. Both teams come into Friday’s matchup off disappointing losses last week.  Toledo lost at Purdue 52-31 while Colorado laid an egg in college football betting odds, losing to Colorado State 23-17.

College football betting line could be tough to predict in this matchup since neither team looked that good last week.  Perhaps Colorado was the more disappointing team since they were actually expected to beat CSU. Toledo was not expected to hang with Purdue and they didn’t on the college football betting line.  Toledo did score 31 points though, so perhaps everything is not all bad for the Rockets in college football betting odds.  The problem last week for Toledo was their defense that gave up 535 yards of total offense.  Toledo countered with 493 total yards, 423 of which were through the air.  Quarterback Aaron Opelt set a school-record with 67 attempts. Senior WR Stephen Williams led Toledo with 15 receptions, tying his career high, while adding a career-best 185 yards receiving and two TDs as online betting stats indicate.

College football betting line numbers have Colorado going 11-5 ATS in their last 16 Friday games.   The problem for those taking Colorado on the college football betting line at the online sportsbook is that the Buffaloes are 2-7 against the college football betting odds in their last 9 games overall.  Toledo is 5-2 against the college football betting line vs. a team with a losing record.

Looking at the college football betting odds in terms of the total we see that the Under is 5-1 in the Buffaloes last 6 games in September but the Over is 10-3 on the college football betting line in the Buffaloes last 13 Friday games.  On the other side, the Under is 5-2 on the college football betting line in the Rockets last 7 Friday games.

College football betting line has Toledo appearing on the ESPN family of networks for the 34th time since 2000, including 23 times in the last five years?  Toledo usually gets a lot of respect in the MAC and on the college football betting line at the online sportsbook and that makes them an attractive team for ESPN.  The Rockets have won 10 MAC Championships and seven MAC West Division titles and they have an 8-2 record in bowl games.  The Rockets will get some national attention on the college football betting line in upcoming seasons as well as they will be playing Ohio State (in Cleveland) Boise State, Arizona, Missouri, Iowa State, Navy and Wyoming.
