College Football Odds – Wisconsin Expected to Run Over San Jose State

You have to feel for San Jose State a little bit as you consider the college football odds. They played top ranked Alabama last week and were routed in college football betting lines and now they have to go to face another Top 20 team in Wisconsin this week. ESPN will be televising this contest on Saturday so San Jose State gets to get humiliated in front of a national audience.  We shouldn’t feel too sorry for San Jose State though as they get a lot of money for playing these top teams.  They are expected to net over a million dollars from the games against Alabama and Wisconsin. The Spartans get routed, take their money and go home. It should be no different against a very talented Wisconsin team.

San Jose State’s Offense is Bad – Last week the Spartans made it inside the Alabama 20-yard line once.  Let me repeat that again. They got one scoring chance.  They scored a field goal and that was it in a 48-3 loss.  And Alabama’s defense this season is not as good as last year’s.

285-50 Margin – The Spartans have been outscored 285-50 in their past seven games against teams from BCS conferences.  That doesn’t inspire much confidence for Saturday does it?  Wisconsin should be able to name the score against the college football betting lines.

Wisconsin Will Run All Over the Spartans – The Badgers have a great running attack that will dominate San Jose State.  The Badgers beat UNLV 41-21 last week as John Clay and Montee Ball ran for two touchdowns each.  They combined with James White to total 261 rushing yards.  Quarterback Scott Tolzien was 15 of 20 for 197 yards. If not for a couple of turnovers the margin of victory would have been greater.  Wisconsin had the ball last week for more than 38 minutes against UNLV.  They may not have it that long on Saturday since San Jose State is not going to slow them down.

Wisconsin or Nothing – You either lay the points at the Sbg sportsbook with the Badgers or you don’t play the game. San Jose State is simply unplayable right now against the college football odds and the only way they keep this game close is if Wisconsin turns the ball over.
