College Football Odds: Bowling Green at BCS #16 Northern Illinois

College Football Odds: Bowling Green at BCS #16 Northern Illinois. This Friday, December 6th we have an exceptional good NCAA Football Game between two rivals in the Mid-American Conference for the MAC Championship Game as the Bowling Green FALCONS (9-3, 7-1 1st East Mid-American Conference is will face the BCS #16 Northern Illinois HUSKIES (12-0, 8-0 1st West Mid-American Conference with the game kick-off scheduled for 8:00 pm ET at Ford Field, in Detroit, Michigan.

At SBG the opening line has the Falcons as the underdog at +3 even after they crushed Buffalo this past Saturday 24-7 and going into that game the Falcons and Buffalo Bulls were tied for the East Title. Thus this game seized the MAC East Division Title with the win, which gave them the path to the Title game against undefeated Northern Illinois. In that game the Falcons Defense held the Buffalo team to 2366 yards of which only 46 was rushing yardage. The Offense for the Falcons in the game gained some 490 yards with 260 yards rushing in which they average almost 6 yards per carry with their RB Greene carried the ball 30 times for 129 yards and scoring once while the other QB Johnson had a TD while he carried the ball 10 times for some 72 yards and his passing game was not his best as he struggled and was only 11 for 26 and 230 yards with one interception and one TD.

Most of the fans thay Bet on College football at a Sportbook  were not surprised to see the Huskies of Northern Illinois back in the Mac Title game which makes this game back to back title games and they still are in a position to get a BCS Bowl invitation for a second straight season. In their last game they beat Western Michigan 33-14 and in the game after they took the lead they more or less coasted to the end of the game and they still out gained the Broncos of Western Michigan some 460 to 256 total yards. The Huskies RB Lynch compiled some 321 yards on 27 carries and he scored three touchdowns he also threw for 39 yards and a TD.  His running the ball was enough for the Huskies to win that game.

The winner of this Mac Championship game will be entitled to an automatic invitation to a BCS Bowl game with the likely Bowl being the Fiesta Bowl.  Last year Northern Illinois was the winner of the MAC Title and went to a Bowl game while Bowling Green has not won the MAC Title since 1992.  Should be a great game! Good Luck Huskies and Falcons!
