College Football Betting Odds – Gators Expected to Win 10 Games Even Without Tebow

The Florida Gators no longer have Tim Tebow but that doesn’t mean they can’t win games vs. the college football betting odds. In fact, the Gators are expected to win 10 games this season.  College football lines at Sbg have the win total on the Gators for the 2010 regular season listed at 10. Florida is in the SEC which is a very tough conference but the Gators have a lot of talent. They could be even better this season even without Tebow at quarterback.

How good is Florida?  You might have forgotten that Florida went 13-1 last season. Yea, 13-1.   If you listen to the media you would have thought the Gators had a losing season.  Head coach Urban Meyer has come into this season full of energy, the team has 13 new starters and they have a quarterback who can throw. We all love Tim Tebow but the Gators didn’t throw it as much with Tebow running the offense.  John Brantley is the new quarterback at Florida. He is not Tim Tebow but he has a rocket for an arm and will be one of the best quarterbacks in the country in 2010.  The Gators will be scary good on offense. They still have Jeff Demps and Emmanuel Moody running the ball and Brantley is going to throw it all over the field.  The Florida defense is almost always good but they probably won’t be the best defense in the country.  Florida is going to be in more high scoring games than in the past but with their offense they should be fine.

Schedule:  The Gators are going to roll in their first four games against Miami of Ohio, South Florida, Tennessee and Kentucky. The game of the year is at Alabama on October 2nd. The winner of that game is a national title contender.  Can Florida win it?  Yes, but it won’t be easy and they will be underdogs at Sbg global.

The Gators have a tough game the following College Football Betting week as they host LSU. They then will dominate Mississippi State before another tough matchup at Georgia. They should win their last four games against Vandy, South Carolina, Appalachian State and Florida State.

Will they win at least 10 Games:  Even if the Gators lose against Alabama and at Georgia they still would finish with 10 wins if they win the rest of their games.
